Gyeongbokgung Palace: Seohwa Hanbok Rental | Seoul

It was our first time to wear a hanbok, we had a great time. The location is easy to find and the staff is friendly and able to speak English and Mandarin.

Service was friendly and efficient. We were in and out with our hanboks in less than half hour. The store is also across the street from the entrance of the palace. Our appointment was at 10:30 am, and most of the hanboks (the colors we desired) were already rented out. Prices were reasonable.

I booked a time slot at 9am with my friend. There were many groups of customers waiting early in the morning, but the store clerks kept the order very well, and it was our turn to choose hanbok soon. Before choosing, the clerk will recommend the appropriate size according to your body shape, and then you just need to line up to try it on. The whole process is super simple! But be careful not to try it on by yourself without the help of the clerk, you must have a clerk next to you. It is recommended that you try to choose an earlier time to arrive at the store, so that there will be more hanbok styles to choose from!

If you go to Korea and want to experience wearing hanbok, this is a good choice. There are many styles of hanbok. They are very beautiful and cost-effective.
