Traditional Hanbok Experience at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul | South Korea

Great service overall and not so crowded.

Very friendly and detailed oriented owners! The owners can converse very well in English, so definitely not an issue in terms of communication. place is a short walk to the palace.

I loved this store so much that I went twice!!! :) The staff is sooo sweet and nice!!! They’re also very helpful in choosing a hanbok, assisting with putting on the hanbok, and giving suggestions on where to go. When entering and leaving the store, they’re so warm and friendly in their greetings and well wishes. Honestly they’re wonderful! This place also has the prettiest hanboks!! And they’re clean and such good quality. I felt like a princess and people even stopped me to ask which store I rented from. Seriously, I felt so beautiful. :))) The store is easy to find and conveniently located. On the east side of Gyeongbokgung Palace, look for the 7-11 and walk down the street. They have hanbok outside, then just walk down the stairs. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Honestly I wish I could go there everyday, hehe :) and when I visit Seoul again, for sure I’m coming back to this store :)

I loved this place! The staff is SO nice!!! They have hanbok for different heights, which is great for overseas visitors (many places are very limited), and there are lots of different styles. Everything is so pretty AND they’re all clean! When you’re walking around the palace and can see everyone else’s hanbok, you’ll understand that this place has nice, quality hanbok. I compared a lot of hanbok places and ultimately decided on this one and I’m so happy. The only thing I wish is that they have an “all day” option because I want to wear hanbok all day. :) They helped me get dressed (there’s a popular store here where they don’t even help you..) and I opted for the hairstyle too. Tbh they made me feel so pretty. I felt like a princess. :) I would come back here and recommend this place to all my friends!

The owner was very kind and friendly in styling our hair for us and teaching us how to wear the hanbok properly!

Shop was quite easy to find and has a large variety of hanbok to choose from There’s an option to pay 5,000 won to get hairstyling service (6 hairstyles to choose from) The lady at the shop was very friendly and helped me choose my hanbok with my boyfriend and even gave us free heat pack because it was freezing cold that day Because we couldn’t take much pics at the palace, she took many pictures for us in the shop Highly recommend this place!

The shop is hidden in a small alley. We are glad that we found this shop. The hanbok there are excellent quality. The staff there are very quick in helping you dress up. There are 8 hair style options to choose from. It costs 5000 won for women hairstyling per person and 5000 per men’s hat. Handbag rentals are free. We had a pleasant rental experience.

the app provided accurate location, easiest landmark is 7Eleven at the side entrance of the palace. All hanboks are pretty, we took package C. We arrived 30 mins late than schedule and the helpers politely assisted us to get ready. highly recommended
