[Please be on time] Please come to the lobby of Kamenoi Hotel Yanagawa at least 5 minutes before your reservation time

Free outdoor parking available for 100 cars, 3 large buses, and 2 wheelchair accessible spaces.

Please wait in the hotel lobby.

There is also a souvenir shop.

Board the boat at the dock behind the hotel.

Enjoy the guide and singing from the boatman. (40 mins)

The tour will return to the boarding area and disband.

It was a very nice experience. It was a bit far from the usual loading dock, which was around 15 minutes by bus to the Kamenoi Hotel. The waiting area is air-conditioned, and the staff is amazing. The boat ride is fun and very informative. The boatmen sing and know some Chinese and Korean phrases. Overall, it was great and fun!

They start on time and throughout the journey, the boatman explained architectures we see along the river stream. He sang 3 beautiful songs, probably folklore songs about Yanagawa. It was fun even though the whole ride was done in Japanese. the most interesting part was when we had to duck the bridges!

It’s the most fun I’ve had in my Fukuoka trip. At 10 USD per person, I would have paid double than that and I’d be as happy. The boat man was friendly, funny and just a ball of joy. The overall ride was serene but also had a bit of adventure especially when you need to duck from the many bridges surrounding the area. If you’re thinking whether you’ll do this or not, let me save you some time, DO IT!!!

Arrived to Yanagawa by public transport, difficult to understand bus system from train station to hotel for cruise. Walk was a bit far in the sun but limited with options. lovely area and quite surrounds. Ken was our boat guide.

Highly recommend this fun and worthwhile trip! Although it's a bit far from the station, there are buses so you can manage your time. The service and helpfulness are both 100%.

The scenery along the way was exceptionally beautiful, with mountains and water weaving together to create a natural masterpiece that was truly breathtaking. The boatmen's melodious songs added to the atmosphere of the entire journey, seemingly drawing you into a deeper realm of charm. Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing, perfect for stress relief and enjoying the beauty of nature.

The boatman was young and talkative, and spoke a little Chinese, but it would be better if he knew some Japanese, or at least could understand English. He could introduce the history of Yanagawa and sing some familiar songs (they were lovely 😍). In winter, there was a heated table on the boat, which was very cozy! Our boatman this time was Masa-san, highly recommended! 👍👍👍
