Even if it was very touristic and the whale sharks stay only because they got fed, it is an amazing experience and you come very close to them. Everything was organised well.

After arranging my flight to see the whale sharks, I was disappointed that I couldn't see them in Bohol... But I was able to make a reservation through this site! I did some research on the spot, and it turns out that if you go from Bohol to Oslob, you'll be using the same tour company even if you apply on the spot. I think it doesn't matter which one you apply with. I'm very happy to have seen the whale sharks! The tour company contacted me the day before through the KKday app and WhatsApp. There were some twists and turns, but I was picked up at Alona Beach and transported to the end!

The pickup came at 5:10 and we left for the port with the rest of the group at 20 minutes. When you arrive at the port, you write down the names of the people on the boat, their ages, etc. At this time, you must say that it is a round trip and receive a ticket. After holding the ticket, you board the boat and it departs at around 6:30. When you arrive, you will be confused about where to go because there will be people who came to Oslob and people who came on a tour mixed together. Then, you will see a person collecting the tickets you received earlier near the tuk-tuk. Then, you give the ticket and the tuk-tuk driver will take you to the whale shark tour site. The tuk-tuk driver will leave your luggage for a while and then proceed with the whale shark tour. There is an outdoor shower and a bathroom after the tour. Since you have to wait a long time for the round-trip boat, if you feel uncomfortable wearing a swimsuit for a long time, it would be good to bring underwear and clothes. The foreigner who rode the tuk-tuk with me was a Filipino, and after talking to the tuk-tuk driver, he suggested that we eat at a restaurant in front of the whale shark tour, so we had lunch. He said that the boat only leaves at 3 o'clock? I'm not sure, but it seems that they grouped the tour participants and put them on the boat. Anyway, since you have to wait a long time, it would be good to ask the driver to take you to a restaurant or a place where you can tour. (Instead, we bought you lunch.) After that, they brought you back to the port at 1 o'clock, and we sat in front of the sea until 4 o'clock. I thought I would die from boredom because I used up my phone battery while taking pictures of the whale shark. I recommend bringing earphones and a portable battery. The weather was cool and it didn't rain, so it was fortunate, but it would have been horrible to think about waiting in a hot place with only one tent. Finally, I arrived in Bohol at 6 o'clock, and when I arrived, the bus I took in the morning was waiting for me. I could take that bus and go to Alona Beach or my hotel. It was a tough schedule, but I was satisfied just by going to Bohol and seeing the whale sharks.

Starting from the meeting point of Panglao Island, we took Jeepney, crab transportation boat, and habal-habal to experience all transportation. Although it was a bit tiring, it was very interesting. Remember to rent a GoPro (only 550 pesos) when you go to the whale shark experience location. Our dedicated coach helped us shoot amazing videos ~ Awesome👍👍

At first, the communication with the customer service was not very timely, and I was worried that I would not be able to find someone to respond. Later, I found someone, but I recommend that you have a sign saying kkday or something like that, otherwise you will get mixed up with people from other groups. It takes about an hour to take a boat (but you have to wait a long time before boarding, and you have to wait until the whole boat is almost full before setting off). Once you get there, you will transfer to a local super motorcycle, and it will take about half an hour to arrive. Whale Shark The experience lasts about half an hour, and the entire round trip takes about 4 hours due to transportation time. You can experience it once.

Because we both live in Bohol, I originally wanted to go to Lila to see the whale sharks, but I was worried that the whale sharks did not show up. The connection was very smooth. The whole process was from about 5:30 to 12:30 when I returned to the seat where I was connected at the beginning, and I changed places on the way. Four modes of transportation but almost no waiting time, highly recommended.

The round trip travel time was a bit difficult! Since we left early, the waiting time on the boat was a bit difficult, and we could just sleep during the moving time. To be honest, I thought it was too far on the way, but I forgot everything the moment I arrived and went into the water. It was really so cool, ecstatic, and fun. I only saw small fish every time I snorkeled. It was really cool to see a huge whale shark. I'm not good at swimming, but I was grateful that the staff kept an eye on me and worked hard to take videos. If I visit Cebu again, I will definitely go see the whale shark again.

One-stop service to pick up and drop off Oslo whale sharks: I originally planned to watch whale sharks in Bohol, but I heard that only Oslo was affected by the typhoon, so I changed the itinerary and transferred from the sea stall to the pier for a two-hour boat transfer. Now KK stay It’s very convenient to book your itinerary in advance
