Jiufen Day Tour: Yehliu & Pingxi Lantern & Jiufen Old Street & Houtong Cat Village | KKday x HSR Combo

It’s my second time visiting northern taiwan and still in awe just like the first time. Our tour guide, Ms. Sherry, was fantastic and made our tour unforgettable. She’s approachable, attentive and very knowledgeable about each stops. I had so much fun visiting each place. Yehliu & its rock formations are breathtaking. Shifen Waterfall was mesmerizing and had so much fun releasing a sky lantern in the Shifen Old Street. If you are a cat lover, you will love Houtong Cat Village! I love that we rode the train from shifen station going to houtong, the train ride was very nostalgic. Feels like i was transported to the old times. Jiufen Old Street was perfect to end the day. The narrow alleys, glowing lanterns & delicious food made it feel like stepping into a movie scene. So glad I had seen d infamous tea house bcos i wasnt able to see it in my first visit. It definitely took my spirit away!

This Jiufen tour group is really great! The tour guide was very professional and enthusiastic. He not only explained a lot of interesting history and culture, but also arranged time considerately so that we could leisurely enjoy the beautiful scenery and taste the food. The whole trip was smooth and fulfilling, highly recommended!

It was a hassle free trip. Lily took care of us and ensured that we were never lost . She was patient friendly and told us the best place to go and the history of the places that we visited. The bus was very comfortable and the tour group size was small enough so that everyone did not have to wait too long for everyone

This was the perfect day trip from Taipei! It was definitely the fastest and most convenient way to visit Shifen, Houtong and Jiufen. Our guide, Anne, was the best! She was so knowledgeable, funny and considerate. I really cannot say enough good things about her!

A nice one day tour. Laurent was very nice and helpful. He always made sure we got to do all the things we wanted to do in the towns and took many pictures for us. Shifen was fun even with so many people. Houtong was not my favorite but it was short. There wasn’t much to do in the town with limited amount of time. You couldn’t go off too far. Jiufen was magical like a town from the story books. I would definitely do another tour with them

We truly enjoyed the trip with our tour guide, Eva. She is knowledgable, patient and amiable. She takes care every single of us from speaking different language, introducing places interestingly and ensure everyone is safe.

Ms. Anne was a very accommodating and kind tour guide. She was translating the whole tour in 3 languages (english, mandarin, and japanese) and was very fluent in those 3! We were able to fully understand the whole tour and she was very funny too! 😊 Thank you, Ms. Anne! ❤️

The tour was pleasant, enjoyable, and informative all throughout! Our tour guide, Anne, was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. She even managed to get the whole tour group a reservation at A-Mei teahouse in jiufen, which enjoyed a lot. Although the time was a bit constricted, it was very fun and had me and my partner wanting to go back to the tour spots!

These three places are a must go, even on a cloudy rainy day! Lily was an amazing tour guide on this trip! She was knowledgeable about the destinations and gave great food recommendations. She was very attentive and made conversation with every group on the tour, remembering details about us and kept the conversations going throughout the day! We were very impressed!

We were impressed by how the tour managed to fit so many activities in a day. It was nice to see all these places for the first time, but I definitely wish we were able to stay in Shifen Old Street and Jiufen longer! Winnie was an excellent guide and she was so good at managing the group so that we were able do everything as scheduled.
