Due to the tight schedule, if it weren’t for driver Lu Lizhen’s introduction to the delicious food in Sun Moon Lake (the chicken wings were delicious), I wouldn’t have known how to choose the food quickly. They also taught us the convenient pick-up and drop-off locations at the Cingjing entrance and exit!

Initially, I thought I would go to Sun Moon Lake by bus from Taichung High Speed Rail, and I even bought a voucher, but there was only one bus per hour, and I might not be able to get on (or get back) if it was full, so I requested a charter for this plan on short notice. I communicated with the driver on WeChat in advance, and on the day, I was picked up as scheduled. The driver only spoke Chinese, but I was able to manage with the translation function of WeChat or LINE. At Sun Moon Lake, I purchased a voucher for the ropeway and bicycle rental activities. The ropeway station and the bicycle rental location were quite far away, so I was really glad that I chartered it. If you tell them the start and end times and places and your destination in advance, you can manage the rest on site. Because the sun was strong, I took the ropeway first, and then rented a bicycle (you must upgrade to an electric bicycle). I thought I would have lunch near the bicycle rental area, but it was after 2pm, so the store was on break. I was lucky that there was a 7-Eleven and I was able to eat on the second floor. The driver was attentive and drove safely. The cost performance was excellent. If I have the opportunity, I would definitely like to use it again.

A 3-day and 2-night pop-up tour in Taichung. I was greedy on the last day and wanted to go to Sun Moon Lake and Qingjing. This chartered car is just right. The arrangement was very considerate. We went to Shuishe Pier in Sun Moon Lake, arranged to take a boat to Xuanguang Temple and then to Ita Shao Old Street. After lunch, we set off to Cingjing. When we got to Cingjing, it was a little rainy, so we went to Cingjing Farm and walked all the way down the Qingjing High-altitude Scenic Trail to Carton King. The green mountains are covered by clouds and rain, and the scenery is ordinary. Have a chance to go again. This trip involves a lot of driving, but the car is comfortable and clean, the driver drives well, and it's easy to fall asleep and rest.
