Doi Suthep, Meo Hill Tribe Village, or Bhubing Palace (with EN/CN Guide) | Chiang Mai

Great way to spend a half day! The places we visited are nice and tour was worth the price.

Friendly tour guide, safe driver, cultural Suthep temple

Shuanglong Temple is really worth a visit, but unfortunately the Puping Summer Palace is under renovation, so when I went to the Miao Market, there were no shops open even on Sundays, which was a bit boring.

A great tour guide. He took care of our language barrier. He only spoke Chinese and let us know everything about the trip.

The guide was attentive to all the participants, which I liked. I don't even understand much English, but he carefully explained the meeting time and other things. I was the only Japanese person there, but I was able to participate with peace of mind. Wat Pharat was great.

It is very suitable for a relaxing trip to see the ancient temples in Chiang Mai without having to drive a car all day. The tour guide is very good and the Miao ethnic village is just average.

Sightseeing destinations: 3 places, half day ■Wat Pharat: A quiet temple in the mountains on the way to Phra That. It is a nice temple with a calm atmosphere without any flashiness, so I highly recommend it. I think this is the only tour that stops at this temple. It is a temple that you should definitely visit. It was really good. ■Wat Phra That Doi Suthep The cable car fee was included in the tour fee. You can use the time and energy spent climbing up and down the stairs to visit the temple. ■Hmong village It was quiet on the day we went. We stopped at a restaurant to eat pad thai (lunch), but they were late in making it, and the meeting time was over, so the order was canceled. We wasted time. All the shops in the village seem to be selling the same things. No matter how you look at it, it doesn't look handmade, and it looks like they are buying and selling mass-produced things somewhere. I guess it's like enjoying the atmosphere of the village and bargaining on the spot. There are other similar Doi Suthep tours (slightly cheaper), but this tour, which includes the cable car and also goes to Wat Pharat for a few hundred yen more, is the best. My wife and I were very satisfied. There was no need to take a shuttle or go to the meeting point by hotel shuttle. If you wait in the hotel lobby at around 8am, the guide will come to pick you up.

The car arrived at the hotel on time, picked up the other group members and set off. The tour guide gave clear explanations along the way and reserved a moderate amount of time for sightseeing.
