Kanta Elephant Sanctuary Experience Half Day Tour

This is the highlight of my trip to Chiang Mai! They responded quickly to my inquiries and the whole trip is great! I’m a solo traveller and I joined sets of 2 and 3 and we are 10 in total. The driver and the tour guide are both nice and friendly. Thank you for taking my photos and videos! Everything in the itinerary was followed and we have more time, since we are the only group that day. There’s a free coffee, water, biscuits ans fruits after feeding and bathing the elephants. It was such a memorable experience. Kanta elephant sactuary is one of the most ethical in terms of takibg care of the elephants. I highly recommend this trip! This trip is a memorable one. We love the elephants they are so gentle and cute. Kanta also provided us with extra clothes and towel. According to our guide the elephants stay at a free roam area. They are well taken care of. Thank you Kanta for this experience!

The tour guide was very friendly and the elephants were clean. Be prepared to stand on elephant poop when bathing them.

We get to feed the elephant, make their food and help to clean them. Clothes and towels are provided. I also learnt more about Elephant through the sharing by instructor. It was a good experience interacting with the Elephant!

The shuttle driver drives smoothly and does not drive too fast. The reception staff at the scene are very friendly and humorous. During the trip, you can have close contact with the elephants. The elephants are not afraid of people and will take the initiative to approach as long as there is food. The elephant care staff on site will not Reluctant elephants don’t stop them when they don’t want to move forward or want to leave, which is great! The half-day tour is very suitable for taking the elderly or children. It will not be too tiring. You can go back to the hotel for half a day and rest for half a day. The only drawback is that the traffic is complicated in the morning and the connection time is slightly delayed.

Being able to get up close to elephants and learn about their ecology and how they eat is much more realistic than in a zoo and is highly recommended!

I participated in a half-day trip in the morning that day. The car arrived on time and the journey was smooth. When you arrive at the reserve, you will be provided with a change of clothes, the environment is clean, and the commentators are also very kind. You can feel that they sincerely take care of each elephant. In addition to being able to feed the elephants, I also learned a lot about elephants. Walking in the same area with the elephants felt like I was on the African savannah. The process of helping the elephant make meatballs was also very interesting. In the end, we went to the small pond together to help the elephant brush its back. I highly recommend everyone to participate in this activity!

The drive is less than an hour and is very convenient. The park is much cleaner than expected. The itinerary is arranged just right. There are also self-service biscuits and fruits. The sugar cane for feeding the elephants is also generous. You can fully experience the fun of feeding the elephants.

The Funniest and most interesting activity in Chiang Mai.

The whole trip was just about the elephants eating and eating and eating and eating! The introducer said "no food no friend"! So we gave a bunch of food to the elephants to eat and make friends with the elephants. We first ate sugar cane, watermelon, banana and other sweet foods, then we ate leaves. Finally, we made digestive pills for the elephants to eat. The first two foods were Go to the trunk and feed it to the elephant. After the last item is digested, lift it up and the elephant will open its mouth. You can then put it into the elephant's mouth. It's very interesting! In addition, I unexpectedly discovered that the baby elephant will kiss you with its trunk, which is very cute. It feels like a limited edition kiss. You will be very happy when you get it, but at the same time, you will be covered in saliva! Then help the elephants take a bath, and they will change into the clothes provided here at the beginning of the activity, so there is no need to bring extra swimsuits or bring your own clean clothes, but the underwear may still get wet, so you can bring your own clean underwear! The elephant may spray you with water unexpectedly, please be careful with your hair 😂!
