You can't exchange this at Ito Station -_- I find this dumb. I exchanged it at IzuKogen Station where they have a big booth there; at one look, the staff understood what the voucher was and proceeded to issue the ticket. What did this meant? Well, I had to convince the station attendant at Ito station to allow me in using the voucher, navigate myself to IzuKogen Stn, and convince the station attendant there to let me pass. Just let me redeem this ticket via the JR ticket machine, forgod's sake.

I bought a one-day ticket for the Izu Kyuko Line, which was worth the trip from Izu Highland to Shimoda and back, and a free ride on the Shimoda Neshizan Cable Car. On weekdays, there are few people going to the fields, so you can stroll around quietly and enjoy the scenery.

Take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Atami Station, and then use the Suica card to take the Izu Express Line directly to Izu Inatori Station. You don't need to get off at Ito Station. After getting off at Izu Inatori Station, show the Izu Express ticket at the service counter in the station. The service staff will ask you to pay the 330 yen fare from Atami Station to Ito Station, and then you can exit the station. After exiting the station, exchange the physical ticket for the Izu Express at the service window next to it. The whole process is very convenient, and you don't need to go to Ito Station to pick up the ticket.

I don’t like self-driving and prefer to take public transportation to go to Izu Shimoda for three days. Of course I didn’t consider it. I bought this ticket in advance on kkday. It’s convenient to pay and pick up the ticket. Don’t waste unnecessary time to buy tickets somewhere first.

After booking the ticket, take the JR section ticket and order information to Shimoda Station. The station staff will kindly assist in redeeming the ticket and waive the fee for the Izukyu section.

After buying it, when you get to Izu Plateau, you can go directly to the exit window for instructions, and then you can go directly to the ticket purchase window to redeem it. It is recommended to prepare the voucher information in advance. I tried to open it from the app but it failed. Fortunately, I found the voucher information from the email.

It is very convenient to exchange it at the station on the day of use. We took the bus from Atami to Izukyu-Shimoda, and paid the fare of 330 yen for the Atami-Ito section at the manual window after exiting the station. Then we used this exchange voucher to exchange for a pass voucher at the window, so that the fare of Ito-Izukyu-Shimoda can be offset by the izukyo pass voucher.
