There are few options for sightseeing spots in Manila, so I decided to go to the remote island of Puerto Galera. I arrived at the hotel where the check-in meeting place was, but I didn't know how to check in or if there was a driver to pick me up, and I was not called even after the time had passed, so I was quite anxious. I asked the hotel security person which bus to take, but when I showed my voucher, I was taken to the hotel reception and finally checked in. I feel like there was not enough explanation about this part. The bus and ferry ride was a 2-3 hour bus ride and about an hour and a half ferry ride. The bus was congested until we left Manila, but it flowed normally once we got on the highway. There was a toilet break on the way. There was nothing particularly interesting. On the ferry from Batangas to Puerto Galera, there was a tout with luggage at the bus drop-off point, but if you ignore it, there is no problem. There is a little time to spare, so you can go to the toilet, etc. A port usage fee will be charged. An environmental tax-like fee will be charged at the Puerto Galera arrival reception. After leaving the port, we all took tricycles and motorbike taxis to our respective accommodations. We were going to White Beach, but we returned to downtown Puerto Galera to exchange money and then went to White Beach. We were impressed by the beautiful and wonderful beach. The sunset and the atmosphere at night were amazing, and there were many delicious restaurants in the area. If you come to Manila, we recommend stopping by here.
