It was a one-of-a-kind experience going out of Bangkok. It was an almost 3-hour drive each way but the drive was truly worth it! We were picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel. The highlight of this trip is the walk on the railway tracks on River Kwai Bridge as well as the actual part of the Dearh Railway. The best part was the 90 minute train ride on the Death Railway itself, bringing us back to River Kwai Bridge. This is truly a great experience perfect for history buffs and train enthusiasts!

Had an amazing tour thanks to our guide, Rach. They pick you up from your accommodation, gives you an in-depth history in the tour van as you’re headed over. The itinerary is jam packed with many interesting activities and it includes a great lunch stop! Overall, I’m very happy with the tour and I look forward to attending more tours that are given by Rach and I Asia Tours.

Experienced and responsible guide Rach lead the tour to experience some history. Hotel pick-up is available, then bring the group for coffee and restroom. Then, we came for the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. We then came to the museum by the same vehicle. With video and illustration, we learned more. Then, we take a boat ride and snapshot at the Bridge for around 5 min.We were taken to the Train station : Kanchanaburi station. We take the train ride for almost an hour to the Thamkra Sae station ( Thon Buri - Nam Tok ) Line. We can enjoy the natural scenery.. We get off and walk to the Kasae Cave for some time... Scenery is better here ... Walking on the historic Railway would be fun if you don't scare of height. Finally we take a simple buffet nearby and drive straight to Bangkok with 1 stop between. Joining the tour is recommended. Save much time, reasonable price.

Overall very good experience, very educational tour for adults as well as for my children too. The local tour guide was good, explain every single details of the Death Railway history to us. The only setback was our transport (van) not up to my expectation, old and the seats not comfortable at all.

An early start of the day as it was a rather long drive out to Kanchanaburi. Seeing the JEATH museum, the death camp replica and the tombstones was a rather somber experience. Train ride over the River Kwea was awesome and the lunch provided was delicious. Will recommend this tour. Only reminder: bring water as weather can be hot.
