We made a last minute reservation but they still managed to arrange a driver for us and accommodate our needs. The driver was also very experienced and showed us a lot of stuff during the 10-hr tour.

We had a great private tour with our English speaking guide. We customized our our trip with Yehliu Ocean World (not impressive, prob skip next time), Shifen old street, Shifen Waterfall (highlight of the trip) and Jiufen old street. Everything the tour guide suggested turned out really great. We went to Golden Waterfall last time, which is a jump off the car, snap a picture and get back on kind of thing. Shifen waterfall is different. You have to walk up and down the stairs and cross a bridge to get to it. Prob a good 15 min to get to the waterfall from the entrance, but well worth it. Also very crowded with tour groups. Everywhere we went was very crowded, except for Yehliu Ocean World, and we went on a Monday. Prices are higher for English drivers and you never know who you will get.

Our driver was professional and courteous. He drove smoothly through the winding mountainous roads and was responsive and prompt when we were ready to be picked up. Highly recommended!

We did full day and went to shifen waterfall, shifen old street to release lantern, cat village and jiufen. Each site was so different and amazing experience. Our guide Aero really made it special and was thoughtful and organised so many extra little things for us. Highly recommend him and the tour

We booked a day before and had the most amazing driver. I don't speak Chinese, but knew immediately it wouldn't be a problem if I was on my own and without someone that did. My partner, who is fluent, had a great conversation with her throughout the trip, and every stop told me how much she was enjoying it. Near the the end, when our time was running low, she told us that we were getting close to the time but suggested we go back for something she considered important. Despite the time left, I got the sense she wouldn't have charged us for being a bit over, but we were ok so I honestly can't say for certain. What I can say, is that for a little over the price of 2 tickets on a set tour we were able to acquire a highlight of our entire trip, and for that, I couldn't recommend this service enough. Especially, again, we booked it the day before.

Our driver 余萬知(Ken YU) was attentive and engaging. He first reached early and reminded us to be dressed for the weather. On the way there, he introduced the less-known history of places and recommended us popular spots to visit. At Jiufen old street, he was very kind to help us carry our (pretty heavy) loots back to the car first while we took our time to enjoy the scenery and food. He was nice to help plan the route to make sure our limited time was well spent. Definitely would recommend his service!

Great that Kkday offers these kinds of private tours. Much preferred over a shuttle of dozens of people and running on tight and long schedules. We were able to ask about stopping in areas along the way that were of interest. And oir driver was a really good english speaker. I almost thought he was from the states

Our driver Mr. Chen was very accommodating to our individual travel plan and very knowledgeable. We loved visiting Yehliu Geopark, Shifen to set off lanterns and for some snacks, and Jiufen for shopping and more snacks.
