No AC. It’s better when the weather cools down. Don’t eat before the train rides. They offer local fruits which is great and a lunch box. The whole trip was relaxing and sightseeing.

It’s a very nice and enjoyable trip even for a solo traveler like me, enjoy every moment on this round trip journey!

Good getaway tour from the busy city life

The itinerary is good, I just wish I could stay longer and walk around on my own

Passing through the 35+1 tunnel is like going back in time through a time tunnel. The overall planning is very good and the food is delicious. It is worth recommending to friends and family. The tour guide Xiaolin (Happy) is very professional and has incisive explanations, which is worthy of praise.

It happened that the night train departed from Taitung to Fangliao. The guide Kobayashi on the train gave an interesting explanation. I thought it was just an ordinary photoshoot, but there were many more stories about Taiwan’s railways that I could understand. At first I thought it was a bit long, but later I realized that it was a small activity to stay in Jinlun for an hour to understand some small customs and cultures of Taitung aboriginal tribes ~ very good pinch! I also know that next time I want to go to the beach, I can just take a ride directly to Jinlun Station 🤣 The bento provided is also very good, it is a bento of aboriginal food, we are all full ~ healthy and delicious! Thanks to the staff of the Blue Railway for their careful design and layout, the whole journey was not boring at all. It’s just that it’s unavoidably hot in summer. It was a fantastic experience travelling on this vintage train from Taitung to Fangliao. The train passed through the wide blue Pacific on the left and green mountains on the right. It is serene and calming and a must see for anyone who prefers the quiet stillness of bucolic countryside. I was the only non-Chinese person on the train but the Chinese speaking guide did their best to communicate the important information about the places that we were travelling by.
