Welcome to God's Tribe Marcus

Must-photographed attractions in Simacus ~ Yingbin Archway

Get ready to walk into the Smacus Giant Tree Trail~

There is a bamboo forest tunnel in the Giant Tree Trail, which is suitable for taking pictures and resting.

The observation deck overlooks the Marcus tribe and the beautiful scenery of the distant mountains.

Canaan Coffee House provides meals and afternoon tea, and is also a good place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Day 2

Class begins~ Zhenxibao Xinguang Elementary School (Forest Elementary School) located in the forest

Xinguang tribe tour, natural scenery and vegetable gardens in the mountains

The Christian church built brick by brick by the Atayal people with their bare hands

There is a triangular rock wall in the valley, which looks like a warship

The only skywalk in Hsinchu County is a must-visit attraction

Frog Rock Skywalk is a trail to get close to the forest and enjoy forest bathing

It was my first time to catch the cherry blossom season in Simakus, and the accommodation and transportation were well arranged. The weather was great for great views, the food was unexpectedly delicious, and the most satisfying thing was the proper care provided by our tour leader and driver, Xiao Li, throughout the entire trip, making this two-day and one-night trip not only about cherry blossom viewing, but also a warm and happy journey. Thank you Xiao Li, and thank you to my good travel companions. (The mountain road is winding and there are many cars, so it was the right decision to be led up by a professional team)

We were lucky that the weather was very good that day, and we could see the cherry blossoms. Although the drive was long, we were gradually moving towards our destination, so it was not too tiring. The lunch boxes were simple and convenient, and we had plenty of time to take photos and hike slowly. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the meals were all freshly cooked aboriginal dishes, which were delicious. Overall, we were satisfied 👍

Friendly and skilled driver, Brother Li. I had heard that the journey was long and bumpy, but the driver drove very well. The whole journey was smooth and I didn't feel too uncomfortable. The itinerary was well arranged and there was enough time to go around without being too rushed. With good weather, this was a perfect trip. I will consider signing up again next year >.0

The two-day tour was really great! Every day's itinerary left a deep impression on me. The driver and tour guide, Brother Hong Siwei, gave very serious explanations and answered all my questions. His photography skills were first-rate. He gave me photos that I can treasure for a lifetime. He is a good tour guide who deserves praise and encouragement! The view from the B&B is amazing, please go and see it for yourself to understand! The dinner at the B&B was good, and the roadside snack stinky tofu was great! I went to Simakus to enjoy the cherry blossoms. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms bloomed late, but 30% of them were still very beautiful. I stayed in Zhenxibao. It felt like staying at a relative's home. It was very warm. In the morning, I looked at the Simakus tribe on the other side of the mountain. It was very beautiful.

The food was very good, the accommodation was also good, the hot water in the B&B was very hot and the quilt was very warm. Seeing the giant trees and cherry blossoms was worth it. I would consider participating in this trip again

2/21～2/22 We were very lucky to have good weather on both days. The guide, Mr. Qiu, drove steadily and introduced us along the way. We were very surprised that we could see the sunrise directly from the B&B room. The cherry blossoms were about 30% in bloom, which was a bit of a pity. Overall, it was a very relaxing and happy trip.

We took part in the 2-day tour of Simakus cherry blossom viewing on 2/26-2/27, 2025. The driver, Zhang Zhengxiong, was friendly and enthusiastic. He introduced many stories and attractions of Simakus. We had plenty of time to experience them during the trip. There were also additional small attractions that made the trip satisfying and happy. I highly recommend it.

The two-day and one-night itinerary was more fulfilling than expected. Marcus, who had always wanted to go, finally found time to go for a walk. We were very determined and we completed the 10.6km journey in 4 hours and 25 minutes. We really have little legs🥴 but It’s worth seeing the giant trees and the beautiful trees! Although there was light rain the next day, it did not affect our travel mood☺️ I am very grateful to kkday for making my little trip possible. The driver also explained the history of the tribe and took photos to capture our backs, which made this trip perfect. 💜
