Hsinchu, Taiwan | Takashima Vertical Walking Day Tour | Departure from Taipei

This is my second time to participate in the Orange Cat Takashima Walk after March 2022. I would like to thank our guide Ah Shun for his comprehensive equipment and the support of our group members. It is really rare to meet such dedicated guides outside. I heard that the orange cat guide who was the guide during my first visit no longer works in this industry, and I feel that we should cherish good guides🫠. I look forward to improving my foot strength so that I can participate in Orange Cat’s Mount Fuji tour in the future, so don’t drag everyone down🥹.

I never thought about going to mountaineering alone, and I accidentally got a training like a passer-by, and walked into the forest to enjoy the beauty of nature

Most of the terrain is in the woods, and there are quite a few places that require both hands and feet to climb. It is recommended to wear long trousers, or you can bring an extra set of underwear to replace after going down the mountain. The time of the team leader was well grasped, and it was about 7:00 when we returned to Taipei. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good this time and we didn't see much scenery.

It is a terrain with steep ascents and steep descents. Although it is more difficult to walk after the rain, the guide time and the team leader have a good grasp of the walking process. The weather is also very suitable for long-term vertical walking. The team members also take care of each other and cooperate well.

The 9-passenger minibus is very new and clean, and the driver and tour guide are professional and enthusiastic. The only thing I think is a bit of a fly in the ointment is that because I have to go back and forth on the same day, the schedule is a bit rushed, and there is no rest time. It is recommended that people who usually exercise and climb suburban mountains are more suitable.

The car is comfortable to drive, the speed is safe, and you can rest assured that you can sleep in the car and the car is clean. 90% of the group members are girls, so the space in the car is large enough to avoid crowding. The two tour guides lead one and the other leave. The speed can be adjusted according to the speed of the group members. Praise 👍

The team leader is very conscientious, and the car is very new. It is a pity that Wei Xiaoxiao does not have a cup holder. Of course it doesn't matter. The most important thing is that this itinerary is another kind of training for people who usually exercise a little. The time will not be rushed, and the forest along the road is also quite beautiful. It will be very comfortable to walk in summer. In many places, you need to use both hands and feet. Pay attention to small stones to avoid slipping fall. There are several outlook points, the scenery is good. The forest on the ridgeline of the mountain is quite peculiar and worth seeing.
