SkyBus Express: Hobart City Airport Transfer Service | Tasmania

For a traveller, who is not driving but needs to go from the Hobart Airport no to. the city, I find taking ‘Skybus’ should the most cheapest and fast means of transport. I bought the ticket from the ‘KKday’ cause they could offer a discount for the ticket. Once paid, KKday immediately sent me a QR code which could be used instantly. I find it very convenient to use.

First time user and it was a simple experience that saved me some dollars. Will gladly use again.

Convenient to board the bus from airport, it is just right outside the arrival hall. The bus is big enough to contain my 28 inch luggage. It was a comfy ride to city.

It only takes about 10-15 minutes to get from the airport to the city center terminal. Next to the terminal is the Metro and tourist bus terminal, and there are also many hotel options nearby.

Pick up only at places with SkyBus stop signs. At first, I got lost, but after checking the stop location and looking around, I saw a red sign and safely arrived at Hobart International Airport. On the way to the airport, I saw a rainbow on the bus. The weather in Hobart is unpredictable and the temperature is lower than Launceston, but it rains intermittently, so it looks like a rainbow has appeared. Online purchases are cheaper than local purchases, so purchase in advance and use them.
