Yunesun Hot Springs Resort in Hakone Japan

My 14 year old son saw this water resort on YouTube and asked us to make the trip to Hakone from Tokyo and it was so much fun. Yes it's a little goofy but honestly we loved it. From the floating pumpkins in the outdoor baths with a view (for Halloween) to the coffee bath, it was both hilarious and refreshing. The resort is super clean, food is extremely reasonably priced (the soft serve ice cream is so good!) and we finished off by going to the traditional onsen (men and women are separate). I had never experienced this before so was somewhat self conscious as it is a naked bath house, but after a good scrubbing and then sitting in a hot outdoor pool, I felt amazing. They hire towels, swimmers and lounge wear, I hired towels and bought light flesh coloured stickers to cover over tattoos because they are not allowed to be on display (the stickers are remarkably good at covering tattoos).

Highly recommended for parents to bring kids to experience onsen in swim suit. The water park is really huge with a very lovely outdoor onsen and different aroma onsen pool. Kids can have fun at the slides.

Bring your kids and parents here, the different types of hot springs are enough to keep you occupied for the entire day!

There are a large number of pools in the park to play in, all of which are heated pools suitable for visiting at any time. There aren't too many people, so it's no problem to keep playing on the outdoor slides. Please be aware that there are opening hours for the fish that eat the skin of your feet. The open-air hot spring experience in Mori no Yu is also very satisfying. The facilities are very new and clean, and the experience is very good and comfortable.

I accidentally spent four hours playing. It was really fun, especially the waterslide.

There are several kinds of hot springs, all with different tastes and characteristics, which are very comfortable.
