the shop is just 3-min walking away from the pier. Easy collection, I don't have a bike license but I know how to cycle, so it is easy for me. The staff was kind enough to give me a quick lesson during collection.

With an e-bike, Liuqiu can explore very well and relaxed. It's definitely much cooler than one of the "thousands" of scooters.

In Xiaoliuqiu, you can only get around on foot without a motorbike, so renting a motorbike is essential. Because I visit Taiwan frequently, I always carry an official Chinese translation of my driver's license. International drivers' licenses are not accepted in Taiwan. I presented the voucher and translation at the shop, signed it, and was able to rent a motorbike immediately. You should be able to get around with broken English and gestures, but be aware that most people only speak basic Chinese. The shop staff were kind, and the return process was smooth. I'll definitely use this service again if I visit Xiaoliuqiu.

It was convenient to book the ferry tickets and motorbike rental together, and it was easy to find a motorbike shop after disembarking. However, the two of us struggled a bit on the electric motorbike going uphill, but thankfully we managed to get to the top. We also saw a huge sea turtle on the beach, only two meters away.

The ferry service is handled by Tai Fu. You can check the schedule online and just show your ID to exchange for tickets on-site! For motorcycles, you can simply Google "Yi Shun" to contact the motorcycle shop. The owner is very nice and can help carry luggage to your guesthouse. The motorcycles are also in good condition~ (but it's a bit of a shame there's no phone holder 🥺)

Since I didn't have a motorcycle license, I rented an electric bicycle. The bike was new and in good condition, and the shop was very close to the pier, making it convenient to rent and return the bike. They could help carry large luggage, but the time was uncertain, so I eventually decided to carry it myself. The pedals of the electric bicycle could also fit a carry-on suitcase lying on its side.

It's very close to the port, and there is a car available immediately. The trip was very smooth👍🏼

It's great to be close to the pier. The price is reasonable. I will rent it again next time I have the chance.
